Murphy's or Shibata: Which of these two foods has the highest calories?
To fully enjoy the summer holidays, there is no such thing as a barbecue. If this isn't the lightest meal, there's no need to deprive yourself of it if you pay attention to your streak! You just have to make the right choices. So, merguez or chibulata? A dietitian and nutritionist explains which of these foods to prefer.
Songs of summer with holidays, relaxation, sun, swimming but also ... barbecue! in the program ? Golden veggies, pickles, and especially grilled meats! In this area, the possibilities are endless: skewers, spare ribs, prime rib...there is something for everyone!
Among the barbecue essentials, we can clearly find sausages merguez and chibulata. The former is spicy and made with beef and lamb, while the latter is made with pork that is not spicy. These two types of sausage allow you to change pleasures. But be warned: Sausage and chibulata don't have the same effect on the line, because one of these two foods has more calories and fat than the other.
Scotch sausage has more calories and more fat than chibulata
Chipolatas contain 282 calories per 100 grams, while margarine sausage has 316 for the same amount. A slight difference has only slight consequences for potential weight gain. Is this enough to say that chibulata should be preferred over merguez as part of a diet or nutritional rebalancing? Not completely! And for good reason: There are other criteria to consider in order to know whether or not a food is good for health, and it can tip the balance.
Since it is meat, protein intake should be analyzed: the higher, the better! It is the chibulata that contains the largest as there are 15.8 grams of protein per 100 grams, while the margarine contains 13.5 grams for the same amount.
What about fats, i.e. fats? Chibulatas contain 20.6 grams per 100 grams, while margarine sausage has 28 grams per 100 grams. Chipolata also contains less saturated fatty acids, which are harmful to the cardiovascular system. However, it is more salty than marjoram, even if these two foods are particularly salty.

No More Barbecue Dilemmas: When you care about your figure, chibulatas with merguez are best. However, there is no doubt about their abuse: like gravy, chibulatas remain fatty and salty and therefore should be eaten in moderation. To treat yourself from time to time while limiting the calorie intake of this food, the following are recommended:
To accompany it with grilled vegetables and sources of fiber, minerals and vitamins essential for the proper functioning of the body;
To avoid sauces that provide a lot of calories even when eaten in small quantities;
Limit bread, which can promote weight gain, or prefer bread made from whole grains or cereals, which are more nutritionally important.
