When do you exercise in Ramadan?

When do you exercise in Ramadan?

Of course, in addition to having fun and being motivated, exercising requires physical energy and muscle strength. So, the most important

question that can be asked in this context is: Can you exercise during the long days of fasting? And when do you do it? In the morning, as you usually do? before breakfast? after him? What effect does that have on your health?

Before breakfast

If you want to exercise before breaking the fast, know that the most prominent danger you may face is a drop in the level of sugar in your body. So, in this case, you have to be careful, especially during the

first week of Ramadan, as your body at this stage is experiencing major changes in its eating habits, sleep schedule and number of

hours. So, try not to exercise during this stage and be satisfied with normal daily activities such as preparing food and table, shopping and arranging the house, or to exercise them in moderation.

After breakfast

We mean by this after two to three hours after eating breakfast. In this case, you should be satisfied with your usual daily efforts and at a light pace, that is, you do not have to do exercises that require you to spend a lot of energy.

Important Tips

Avoid strenuous exercise during the day of fasting, especially in hot weather. Heat enhances your body's loss of water and thus its exposure to dehydration.

The ideal time to exercise during the month of Ramadan is that immediately before or 3 hours after you eat iftar. It is wrong to do exercises right after eating because your body uses its energy in this case to do one thing which is the digestion process.

It is necessary to exercise in air-conditioned places away from various sources of pollution.

It is best to choose light exercises such as walking.

 do you know?

What happens when you exercise during the fasting period? In fact, this burns up the amount of sugar and fatty acids in your blood, which means that your body then depletes its own stores of

glycogen, fats and proteins, and thus fatigue and exhaustion. Also, spending your muscle protein in order to provide the energy needed

to do the exercises leads to the weakness of your muscle tissue, and it can get worse if the level of moisture and beneficial minerals is low and your heart rate is disturbed. Also, feeling hungry or thirsty may make you lose the pleasure you feel during exercise.
