What to do before, during and after a "massage"
Sitting for long hours, or the pressures you are exposed to, push you to resort sometimes to massage sessions for your body in order to relax it as well as for your nerves, but is it sufficient only to go to a specialized center for this purpose without prior preparation?

1- Do not drink coffee or any kind of stimulants: If you want to drink morning coffee, make sure to do it before the massage session, and not after it so that your body does not lose the benefits that it got from the session.
2- Avoid exercising: If you want to exercise, you should do so before the massage session and not after it to avoid tightening the muscles after relaxing.
3- Enjoying a hot bath: You should take a hot bath for a long time before the session to increase muscle relaxation and enjoy a quiet massage session.
4- Avoid foods that cause flatulence: Before the session, make sure to avoid eating raw vegetables such as broccoli and cabbage, as well as fruits such as apples, in addition to cooked milk. If you want to eat your main meal, eat it a few hours before the massage.
- During the massage session
1- Correct breathing: make sure during the massage session to breathe deeply and regularly to get internal and external comfort, especially if you feel nervous during the session.
2- Not feeling embarrassed. If you feel that an area needs more massage, tell the person doing the session.
- After the massage
You should drink a lot of water, because a massage is like aerobic exercise. Muscle tissue may become dehydrated, so you should drink plenty of water to keep your body tissues healthy.
