Doing Kegel exercises for women
To do Kegel exercises, imagine that you are sitting on a marble and tightening your pelvic floor muscles as if you were lifting a small marble.
Continue this movement for three seconds at a time, then relax for three repetitions.
Stay focused For best results, focus on tightening your pelvic floor muscles only.
Beware of tightening the muscles of the abdomen, thighs or buttocks. Also, avoid holding your breath, and breathe freely during the exercises.
Repeat the exercise 3 times a day. Aim to do at least 3 sets of 10 to 15 repetitions per day.
Don't make Kegel exercises a habit to start and stop the flow of urine.
