Some people suffer from an inconsistent body due to the accumulation of fat in some places in the body, and most importantly, the ways to get rid of it differ according to the places where fat accumulates. In this interview with Clinical Nutritionist Dr. Vivian Mohamed Wehbe.


  Most places to accumulate fat:

- First, the abdomen is considered one of the most dangerous places because it is linked to heart disease and high liver fat. Men suffer from the accumulation of fat in the abdominal area more than women


Secondly, the buttocks are one of the places that contain stubborn fat, and women suffer from its accumulation more than men.


Third, the arms are considered one of the most difficult places to remove fat.


Fourth, the back is one of the places where fat accumulates in women and men.


Fifthly, the chest area contains more fat in men than women and suffers from it due to high weight and lack of exercise, which causes embarrassing gynecomastia for men.


• How do we get rid of these fats?

Following a calorie-counted diet should reduce weight and accumulated fat, by replacing foods rich in fat and calories with vegetables, fruits and fiber, and eating whole grains and complex carbohydrates instead of sugars, sweets, soft drinks and juices.


Eat proteins that help to feel full and unsaturated fats such as olive oil, raw nuts and avocados, and stay away from fried foods and fast food.


In addition to the diet, continuous exercise and focus on special exercises to get rid of the place of accumulation of fat, for example, abdominal exercises to burn accumulated fat in the abdomen, thigh exercises to get rid of thigh fat, and fitness exercises to increase the rate of burning in the body and to maintain body fitness.


 Drinking water and modifying habits, such as organizing meal times, not canceling meals during the day, and sleeping enough, all help to increase the metabolism and rate of burning in the body.


- In addition to diet and exercise, it is possible to resort to fat-cracking devices and body sculpting that help to focus on specific

 places in the body and adopt non-surgical techniques such as sound waves, ultrasound, fat freezing technology to get rid of stubborn fats, and devices to activate the lymphatic system to help get rid of fat in the body.
