A study issued by the British "Sleep Council" indicated 3 ways to get rid of insomnia and fast sleep, which are sleeping on an appropriate bed, avoiding daytime naps and exercising.


According to the newspaper, "Daily Express", the study warned of the need to buy an appropriate bed mattress, so that it is neither too soft nor too hard, so as not to hurt the spine and cause pain during sleep.


The study said: "The foundation of good sleep is a comfortable bed, because the right mattress can make a critical difference between a restful night and an uncomfortable night, while an uncomfortable mattress can cause permanent insomnia."


The study indicated that the second way is to maintain a routine in going to bed and the need to avoid taking naps during the day, and not to drink large amounts of fluids before bed.


And the need to turn off all electronic devices two hours before going to bed, including the TV, computer and mobile phone, in addition to using blackout curtains to keep the bedroom completely dark, with the need for the temperature in the bedroom to be appropriate and comfortable.



According to the study, the third way is to exercise during the day to a reasonable degree, warning that intense exercise can give the opposite of the desired results.


She said: "Exercise can help to get better sleep, and it is recommended that the exercises be effective, but not in a violent or debilitating way."
