Who said intimate care is just about using soaps or gels for "personal hygiene". This is what is common among everyone but what you do not know is that you can choose healthy foods and do exercises to keep your vagina healthy too!

Eat healthy food and do exercise

1- Eat yogurt. Yogurt contains beneficial bacteria that have positive effects on the vagina. By introducing yoghurt into the diet, the body gets all the necessary good bacteria. Eating yogurt is an excellent way to prevent and treat fungal infections.



Other foods also contribute to good health. If you don't like yogurt, you can substitute it with kimchi or kombucha.

 

2- Eat a lot of fruits. Cranberries, pineapples, strawberries and all kinds of fruits help combat bad body odor. Don't imagine that your

 vagina will smell like berries or bananas, but it will smell even better, if that's something you're concerned about. Fruits also contain a lot of water. And by hydrating the body well, you help it get rid of toxins that may cause unpleasant odors.



3- Eat garlic. Garlic kills fungi, so it is an excellent way to prevent and treat fungus. And by eating raw or cooked garlic several times a week, you take care of the vaginal area. Garlic also appears to remove unpleasant odors.



4- Do Kegel exercises. Kegel exercises strengthen the pubococcal and perineal muscles. These muscles relax and weaken with age or after childbirth, and by strengthening these muscles, you avoid future problems such as urinary incontinence and increase sexual pleasure. Here's how to do Kegel exercises:


Locate the perineal muscles. To do this, stop urinating before you finish when you are in the bathroom. The muscle that allows you to stop is the perineal muscle that should be strengthened with these exercises.


Tighten the muscles and hold this position for three seconds, then relax. Repeat the exercise 15 times.


Do Kegel exercises every day and try to shrink the muscle for a longer period of time.

 

5- Think of other exercises for the vaginal area. The vagina also becomes stronger during sexual intercourse. And by having regular sex, your vagina will remain in good shape. Try to contract and relax the vaginal muscles during intercourse.
